Reykjavik, on the coast of Iceland, is the country's capital and largest city. It's home to the National and Saga museums, tracing Iceland’s Viking history. The striking concrete Hallgrimskirkja church and rotating Perlan glass dome offer sweeping views of the sea and nearby hills, and it’s one of our favorite cities to travel to!
AIRPORT INFORMATION
There is only one international airport in Iceland - Reykjavik/Keflavík (KEF). You can either arrange car service, book a shuttle ticket, or rent a car. Due to our wedding taking place in their peak summer season, we recommend arranging your airport transfers in advance.
HOTEL INFORMATION
We have secured a hotel room block at The Edition Hotel in Reykjavík. This is where we will be staying, where our cocktail hour will take place and it will act as our wedding weekend’s shuttle pickup location.
TRAVEL CONCIERGE
Our wedding planning team has a full-service travel concierge associate for guests who are interested in working with a travel agency to assist with your travel needs. We also encourage our guests to experience all that Iceland has to offer on the days before or after our wedding festivities, and the Sharon Walters Team can assist you in booking excursions or experiences.
